Back to the Future

Wow. Six years have passed since I last posted here. 6 YEARS!!!

A lot has happened since then. And when I say a lot, I mean, A LOT. (Notice how I repeat things for emphasis?)

When I started this blog, I just intended this to be a diary of sorts. I wanted a venue to be able to write my thoughts, about something real or otherwise. This wasn't my first stab at blogging mind you. I used to do it on Tumblr. Then again, tumblr has now become a Tinder of sorts in the blogging world so I kind of was turned off by it now. I do have friends who still use it as their domain, so I still go and look at it from time to time.

The reason why I opened this again was because I received an email notification by Google verifying me as the owners of this account. I realized that I actually forgot I even had this blog to begin with. And was pleasantly surprised that I actually had earnings from it. $20. Ha!

In 2012, I was only 24. I was still teaching English as a Second Language for Koreans, mostly. I did not have a health insurance, no bank account and was still single.

2018, I am now 30. Still teaching, but now in a BPO setting. I also now have a health insurance (one of the benefits from my employer), have my own savings, albeit, small. And I am now MARRIED. Or should I say, STILL MARRIED (we've separated if you want to know, and we're both in different relationships). My son is now turning 10 (TEN!!!), I've met and made new friends and cut off communication with some. I've made wrong decisions in life, and made the best ones.

And you know what? I don't regret anything. I am actually happy with where I am right now, who I'm with and what I've  become. Who would've thunk, huh?
